One of the definitions of the word art is "the creation of beautiful or significant things". Just like a master artist, the Lord Jesus creates beautiful and significant things in our lives when we give Him the time and space to work. I feel blessed to share what He is creating in my life with you.

52 Books in 52 Weeks.
This week my reading took me to Amish country with "A Time To Love" by Barbara Cameron. Jenny is a photojournalist who films the affects of war on the children of Afghanistan. Jenny is wounded in a car bombing while overseas and "comes home" to her Amish Grandmother's home to recuperate. Jenny's father left the Amish church when he was a young person, but allowed Jenny to visit her Grandmother during the summers, after her mother's death. It was during those summers that Jenny met Matthew, and fell in love. Time and distance separated their worlds but is this the opportunity the Lord is using to bring their separate worlds together as one? This is the first book in a series called "Quilts of Lancaster County". I was able to read book 1 as a free ebook from Christianbooks.com
