This week...The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. This book is a compilation of 12 short stories told from the perspective of Dr. Watson as he records these 12 cases. Each story is typical Sherlock Holmes....what seems to be is not... and it takes this brilliant sleuth to put everything aright again.
I am a lover of mysteries so this was right up my alley.
One of the definitions of the word art is "the creation of beautiful or significant things". Just like a master artist, the Lord Jesus creates beautiful and significant things in our lives when we give Him the time and space to work. I feel blessed to share what He is creating in my life with you.

Sherlock Holmes is on my winter list to read. :-)
I'll be reading this in 2012, hopefully! I've never liked mysteries, so I'm hoping Sherlock changes my mind...
This one is already on my Kindle, waiting to be read. I've read a few Sherlock Holmes short stories before. I hope I like all 12.
