One of the definitions of the word art is "the creation of beautiful or significant things". Just like a master artist, the Lord Jesus creates beautiful and significant things in our lives when we give Him the time and space to work. I feel blessed to share what He is creating in my life with you.

52 books in 52 weeks challenge
Well- I did not meet my goal of 52 books in 52 weeks for 2011. I didn't even come close! but...I had a feeling that this was not the year to keep up with that challenge- with planning a wedding for our oldest daughter in August the year just got away from me. I did read a few more books than I posted on the blog but not what I intended. I am going to attempt this again this year because I like the challenge! So...."the game is afoot!"

Sometimes I think I'd like to take this challenge. I probably do average about a book a week anyway, but I'm always afraid that once I make the commitment, I'll feel too much pressure. :-)
